Our Projects

We are pleased to announce our first project ,a 40 MW solar development under the M.P. Surya Mitra Krishi Feeder Yojana in Rajgarh, Madhya Pradesh.

 

This initiative is part of the Government of India’s PM-KUSUM scheme, designed to provide daytime power supply to agricultural feeders while strengthening grid stability across the state.

 

The project is supported by strong regional solar irradiation, expanding transmission infrastructure including the upcoming Rajgarh Solar Energy Zone and a stable, government backed offtake counterparty in MPPMCL, which maintains a consistent payment track record.

 

This marks the beginning of our contribution to India’s renewable energy transition, and we look forward to building on this foundation.

Why M.P. & Rajgarh District in M.P.

Good solar irradiation
  • Rajgarh is already an identified solar zone in Madhya Pradesh with both existing projects and new transmission build-outs underway
  • Central and western Madhya Pradesh generally receive strong solar radiation (~5.5–5.8 kWh/m²/day range typical for utility-scale economics)
Improving transmission infrastructure - Multiple transmission schemes are under development specifically for:
  • Interstate evacuation - The central government and RECPDCL are developing evacuation infrastructure for an additional 1.5 GW Rajgarh Solar Energy Zone (SEZ).
  • Rajgarh Phase III SEZ
  • New 400/220 kV substations
Madhya Pradesh is relatively investor-friendly
  • land costs are lower than Gujarat
  • curtailment risk is generally lower than weaker grids

Large contiguous land may still be available - Rajgarh has semi-arid/agricultural tracts where utility-scale aggregation is possible, especially for:
  • 50–500 MW projects

PPA Counterparty Strengths

  • Counterparty to PPA is MPPMCL with 100% ownership of Government of MP. MP Government has demonstrated support to MPPCL in the form of tariff subsidies, equity infusion, government-guaranteed debt, and perpetual loans to MPPMCL
  • MPPMCL’s strategic importance by virtue of being the holding company of the three power distribution companies (discoms) of Madhya Pradesh – Madhya Pradesh Poorv Kshetra Vidyut Vitaran Company Limited (MPPoKVV), Madhya Pradesh Madhya Kshetra Vidyut Vitran Company Limited (MPMKVV), and Madhya Pradesh Paschim Kshetra Vidyut Vitran Company Limited (MPPKVV) – licensed to distribute power in designated areas.
  • MPPMCL’s operations on a cost-plus return-on-equity (RoE) regulatory model, assuring stable cash flows and allowing the MPERC to revise tariff in the past.
  • As per the PRAAPTI data available online (Power Ratification and Analysis in Power Procurement for Transparency in Invoicing for Generators), MP reflects under Green signifying 0 Months overdue in monthly average billing
