Jaspreet Singh Sekhon is an experienced business leader with a proven track record in leadership, business and strategy development and driving growth across multiple sectors, including renewable energy, healthcare, and retail. He co-founded Sunara Renewables Pvt Ltd in 2024.
Prior to this, he founded Raphael Care Pvt Ltd, a healthcare company in 2022 and JSS Pvt Ltd, a retail sector company in 2023. From 2014 to 2021, he was part of the senior management team at Azure Power, a leading renewable energy company. Earlier in his career, he worked with a prominent NBFC, managing the North and Northwestern regions, focusing on expanding existing business and developing new projects. He also served for 22 years in the Indian Defence Forces, gaining leadership experience across various operational theatres and receiving two decorations for gallantry.
Jaspreet holds a Master of Business Administration from Management Development Institute, Gurgaon and a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Economics from Punjab University Chandigarh.

Shankar is a seasoned professional in renewable energy sector and has been associated with the sector with India’s 1 MW scale project under National Solar mission.
Graduated in Electrical Engineering from Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology in 2010, he has worked for 14 years in the industry managing GW scale projects wrt Design and asset management of Solar as well as Battery Energy Storage systems.
Worked for 10 years at Azure under various roles handling design and asset management of approx. 2 GW of solar projects including rooftop portfolio. Worked for 3 years at IndiGrid INVIT doing M&A, Asset Management and BESS projects.
Under his leadership at Azure, he was responsible for In-house asset management of approx. 2GW of Solar projects with a large team of approx. 250 people which was first of its kind in India. During his professional career of 14 years, he has interacted with leading Institutional Investors, Lenders, Independent Engineers, OEM’s and service providers in the renewable industry.
He also had experience of M&A of 1GW of renewable assets at IndiGrid and also helped IndiGrid foraying into business of Standalone Battery Energy Storage System.

A team of 92 employees was effectively managed, overseeing 59 sites spanning 13,000 acres, achieving operational excellence, and consistently delivering projects on time and within budget, all while upholding the highest safety and environmental standards.
